Watch: Salman Khan pays tribute to late Vinod Khanna as he wraps 'Dabangg 3' on his birth anniversary

Salman Khan recently wrapped his upcoming film Dabangg 3. The actor shared a special video on Instagram for the film's wrap. Directed by Prabhu Dheva, the film has been wrapped up after 104 days of the shoot. Coincidentally, the cast wrapped up the project on the birth anniversary of late Vinod Khanna who played Salman’s father Prajapati Pandey in the first two installments.

On the special occasion of his birthday on October 6, Salman Khan, Prabhu Dheva and the entire crew of Dabangg 3 paid tribute to the late actor with a heartfelt video. Salman said in his video, “So, aaj hamara Dabangg 3 ka last day tha. Hamara pack up ho chuka hai. Aur strange baat yeh hai ki, khushi ki baat yeh hai ki aaj hamare VK sir yani ke Vinod Khanna sir, unka aaj janamdin hai. So, hamare Prajapati Pandey sahab ka janamdin hai aur ussi din par hamara aaj, coincidentally and fortunately, hamari Dabangg 3 ki shooting ki pack up ho chuki hai. Dabangg 3 is a prequel film that traces Chulbul's journey from a kind-hearted goon in his 20s to become a Robin Hood cop in present times. The film, directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Arbaaz Khan, Salman and Nikhil Dwivedi is scheduled to release on December 20, 2019. Apart from Salman, Dabangg 3 stars Sonakshi Sinha as Rajjo, Mahesh Manjrekar as Hariya, Kannada star Sudeep, Pramod Khanna and debutante Saiee Manjrekar in important roles.
