Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War created history on day 1 of its release. The biggest action entertainer of Bollywood lived up to its massive pre-release hype as it collected 53.35 crore net all India (Hindi: Rs 51.60 crore and Tamil + Telugu - Rs 1.75 crore). For this big achievement, the makers of War hosted an event for media this afternoon. In appearance at the event were Tiger, Hrithik, Vaani Kapoor and director Siddharth Anand. Hrithik and Tiger spoke about their bond and their "chemistry" in the film.
Hrithik spoke about Tiger and said, "He is my dance partner, stage partner, ice cream partner". Tiger then mentioned that he has never had better chemistry with any of his past heroines. The actor said, "So, most of the feedback that I am receiving is that I haven't had this chemistry with any of my heroines. Also, I am blessed that I got to do my biggest film with my biggest hero"

Siddharth Anand's War has created history as it became the biggest opening in the history of Hindi cinema. On its second day, War collected Rs 23.10 crore (Hindi) and Rs 1.25 crore (Tamil + Telugu), taking the overall two day collections to Rs 77.7 crore. The film had released on October 2, 2019.
