Shah Rukh Khan to play antagonist Bill in the remake of Quentin Tarantino's 2003 classic 'Kill Bill'?

After his last released film – Zero (2018) bombed at the Box Office, Shah Rukh Khan has taken a break from Bollywood. Ever since then, his fans have been eagerly waiting for an announcement of his film. While SRK has apparently been taking time in reading several scripts, we now hear that filmmaker Nikhil Dwivedi is keen to rope in the actor for the Hindi remake of cult Hollywood classic Kill Bill (2003), directed by Quentin Tarantino, featuring Uma Thurman as ‘The Bride’ and actor David Carridine as ‘Bill’. According to a report in a leading daily, Nikhil, who is making this film with Anurag Kashyap, wants SRK to play the antagonist Bill in the film.

“Nikhil bought the remake rights earlier this year, and now, he is in process of giving shape to the project. There has been talk about Shah Rukh Khan stepping into the role of the antagonist, Bill," a source close to the development told the daily. Although the discussions are at a very early stage currently, Shah Rukh has certainly shown interest in the project. “This is one of the many films that the actor is considering for his next as he is keen on working with Kashyap. However, the discussions are at the nascent stage. The team has yet to zero in on the leading lady who will breathe life into Thurman’s part,” added the source.
