This was the time when I wanted to dance with the world, but I couldn't communicate anything: Vicky Kaushal on his reaction to his National Award win

Vicky Kaushal in a very short span of time has managed to make a name for himself in Bollywood. The actor has gone from strength-to-strength from the time he made his debut in Masaan in 2015. The actor won the National Film Award this year for his performance in the film URI: The Surgical Strike. The film became a landmark and its dialogue ‘How’s the josh?’ became a part of popular culture with even Prime Minister Narendra Modi using it in his speech.

Vicky spoke about his reaction to the moment he got to know that he had bagged the Best Actor National Award for his film URI: The Surgical Strike at a recent conclave. He said, “It was a surprise for me. I was at a look test of my upcoming film. I was watching the press conference live. Before my name was announced, three other awards that Uri got where announced, and I was jumping and jumping. And when my name was announced, I was like 'Hein?' So I was really surprised. Since I was at a look test, ten minutes after the announcement, I had to wear a head mask on my face and had to stay still for 45 minutes. This was the time when I wanted to dance with the world, but I couldn't communicate anything. So, I called my co-winner Ayushmann Khurrana and my parents and just sat there."
