Rishi Kapoor gets 'warm welcome' from brother Randhir Kapoor and best friends Jeetendra and Rakesh Roshan

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who was undergoing medical treatment in New York, returned to India on September 10. Expressing his happiness on his arrival in the country, Rishi took to Twitter and wrote: "Back home... after 11 months 11 days. Thank you all." Rishi and his wife Neetu were spotted at the Mumbai airport upon their return and several pictures were doing rounds on the Internet in which the couple was seen happily posing for the paparazzi.

The Chandni actor was in the Big Apple to undergo medical treatment for cancer. A slew of family, friends, and celebrities from across the world, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Karan Johar, have visited Rishi over the past months. Now as he is finally back home, Rishi is busy meeting his family and friends after a long time. 

Interestingly, he shared a picture of his recent gathering with with Bollywood actors- brother Randhir Kapoor and friends Jeetendra and Rakesh Roshan. “Thank you for the warm welcome," he tweeted. In the photo, all four of them can be seen posing with their hands on each other’s shoulders.

Recently, talking about his industry friends, Rishi had told in an interview from New York, “Jeetendra my dear friend, Rakesh Roshan my dear friend, they have never been acknowledged. Bechare 50 saal se upar woh log kaam kar rahe hain aur kiya hai. Aaj nahi kar rahe toh kya hua but kiya hai and jo unka samay aya hai. What about them? And I am not bothered about myself. Jeetendra ne kitna...how much entertainment he has given this country.”

Soon after his return, Rishi had joined Neil Nitin Mukesh and his family for the Ganpati darshan.
