'Don't put unnecessary pressure on this relationship,' says Dinesh Vijan when asked if he and Rajkummar Rao are the new Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan of Bollywood

After increasing the level of anticipation and intrigue among audiences with their incredible motion poster, Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films in association with Jio Studio, today launched the trailer of Made In China, starring Rajkummar Rao, Mouni Roy, Boman Irani, Paresh Rawal and Gajraj Rao. After the success of Stree, the film has Rajkummar and Dinesh reuniting yet again and are being touted as a director-actor who can deliver hits. 

When asked at the trailer launch, if they are the new Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan of Bollywood, Dinesh quipped, "Kyun pressure daal rahe ho is relationship pe unnecesary. We are happy making our small films." To which Rajkummar joined in by saying, "I love the whole experience of working with Dinesh. I feel after I see a lot of films that I should have done this with Dinesh." Dinesh further revealed that the idea of Made in China came through when they were working on Stree and talked how Rajkummar immediately said that hes's doing the film. "He (Rajkummar) is a very smart businessman," Dinesh laughed off.

Made in China tells the story of the Gujarati enteprenuer Raghu Mehta and his 'jugaadu' business journey. The film is being juxtaposed with the tag "India ka Jugaad". It is slated to release around Diwali this year.
