‘Let’s go to KL, I will complain to the umpire’, says Vikram Phadnis hinting at Athiya Shetty’s and KL Rahul’s rumoured relationship

Bollywood and cricket have always gone hand-in-hand as both the industries are glamorous and the celebrities often rub shoulders with each other at umpteen numbers of events. We’ve had quite a few marriages too between actresses and cricketers the most recent being that of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Now, as per the grapevine there is another budding romance happening between Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul and if we go by Vikram Phadnis’s not-so-subtle hints on social media then the cat is out of the bag.

It all began when Athiya shared an inspirational quote on Instagram that read, “Trust the timing of your life." To this Vikram commented, “You seem to be v hyper and excited these days ??? Let's go to KL ??? ..... Kuala Lumpur (sic)" To which, Athiya Shetty replied, "@vikramphadnis TIME to block you!"

Vikram wasn’t ready to concede defeat and promptly answered with, “I will complain to the UMPIRE !! @athiyashetty and once your WICKET is gone ... it's back to the pavilion !!! (sic)" He later added, "Am sure !!!! @athiyashetty !!! What about the timing btw !!!!!!!!"

According to reports, Athiya and KL Rahul have been dating for some time now but neither have confirmed the relationship.
