After four months of rigorous training for a pugilist's role, Farhan Akhtar starts shooting for 'Toofan'

Farhan Akhtar, after four months of rigorous boxing training, has finally kickstarted the shoot for his next titled Toofan. The actor plays the role of a pugilist in the sports drama directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. And after building a body like an athlete, Farhan, on Wednesday, started shooting for the film, which is eyeing for a 2020 release.

Farhan, for the role, received intense training from Drew Neal. To keep his fans updated on the project, the actor shared videos and pictures from prep sessions on his social media account and gave a glimpse into the efforts that went behind the training.

With Toofan, Farhan will be collaborating with Rakeysh for the second time after their blockbuster film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in 2013. Apart from Farhan, Toofan stars Paresh Rawal as the former's onscreen coach. The lead actress and the release date is yet to be announced.
