The first look poster of Ali Fazal from Prasthanam has been dropped. The poster describes Ali as ‘the heir’ and he looks intense and fierce as he gazes into the camera. Besides Ali, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff and Satyajeet Dubey. The film is produced by Sanjay. Ali plays the role of Sanjay’s son Ayush Baldev Singh in the film.
The official handle of Sanjay’s production house tweeted the poster and wrote, “He is the heir, but will he earn the legacy? Find out soon..” Prasthanam is the official Hindi remake of the 2010 Telugu cult classic of the same name. The film’s teaser has already created a buzz amongst the audience. The film marks Sanjay’s reunion with Manisha who has shared the screen with him in films like Sanam, Kartoos, Achanak, Khauff and Mehbooba.

The film’s teaser was revealed on Sanjay’s 60th birthday on July 29. The film sees him play the role of a shrewd ambitious leader called Baldev Pratap Singh. The film is directed by Deva Katta. Prasthanam is scheduled to release on September 20 and will clash with Sunny Deol's directorial Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, which is the Bollywood debut of his son Karan Deol.
