Rajkummar Rao to join forces with Ventilator director Rajesh Mapuskar for his next?

Rajkummar Rao is undoubtedly amongst the most talented actors in Bollywood and why not. With films like Stree and Bareilly Ki Barfi to his credit, the actor has become the blue-eyed boy of several directors and filmmakers. And now, after securing films with leading and renowned directors, Rajkummar has reportedly been approached by the director of the critically acclaimed Marathi film Ventilator- Rajesh Mapuskar. As per reports, Rajesh and Rajkummar are in talks with each other for collaboration. A source close to Rajesh and Rajkummar informed an entertainment portal that though not much about the project has been revealed but they are in an advanced stage of discussion

“The Ventilator director has approached Rajkummar Rao for his next Hindi directorial. The actor is in talks with the filmmaker. While it is unknown what kind it of a project it will be, it seems like they are in an advanced stage of talks,” the source told the portal.

Rajesh made his Bollywood debut with Sharman Joshi's and Boman Irani's Ferrari Ki Sawaari in 2012. Later, he went on to direct Priyanka Chopra produced Ventilator in 2016, which ended up bagging several National Awards. Coming to Rajkummar, he is currently shooting for a horror-comedy titled RoohiAfza with Janhvi Kapoor. He will then begin with Karan Johar's Takht. Apart from that, he will be seen in Made In China with Mouni Roy and Turram Khan co-starring Nushrat Bharucha.
