Prabhas undoubtedly became a household name after the stupendous success of the Baahubali films. Now after two years, the actor Prabhas is all set to return to the big screen with Sujeeth's action-thriller Saaho, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor. The cast and crew of the film launched the trailer recently and at the event, Prabhas was asked if he was ready to "give a tough competition to the Khans", namely Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. To which the actor replied, "Thank you, ma'am. Can I leave?", leaving everyone in splits.
Well, for those caught unaware, Prabhas' Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which released in 2017, did beat Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar, Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai and Shah Rukh Khan's Raees, at the box-office. So, we would not be surprised if Saaho rakes in moolah at the box-office as well.
Meanwhile, at the trailer launch, Prabhas stated he is not ready to dedicate as much time to any other film as he did with Baahubali. "Actually, I did not want to give two years for this film because I already gave four years for Baahubali," he said, adding, "But for the action sequences, we need a lot of preparation. For some action scenes, like the Abu Dhabi chase, we were working for almost a year. A lot of preparation and rehearsals are required. I need to support the director and the producers who spent too much."
Saaho also stars Jackie Shroff and Neil Nitin Mukesh in key roles. The film releases on August 30.
