Nikkhil Advani is all set to bring to us his next titled Batla House starring John Abraham, Mrunal Thakur and Nora Fatehi. The director recently talked about Nora’s item number from the film O Saki Saki which happens to be a remake of hit 2004 song Saaki Saaki.
Nikkhil mentioned how he could not make peace with incorporating an item number just to grab eyeballs of the audience. He admitted that he indeed wanted Nora to be an important part of the film and not do just an item number for the sake of it. When asked about the song and featuring Nora in it, Nikkhil said, "It was the toughest part of the film to work on because I didn't want Nora to be just an item girl. I made sure she had a role and did acting and dialogue workshops with her. She is an integral part of the movie. I am convinced about Saki Saki being a part of Batla House."
Batla House, a cop drama, is based on the very controversial 2008 police encounter which took place in Delhi. The film will release on August 15 and will clash with Akshay Kumar’s, Vidya Balan’s and Taapsee Pannu’s Mission Mangal.
