Did Prabhas receive Rs 100 crore as remuneration for ‘Saaho’?

Prabhas’ and Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming film Saaho is probably one of the most anticipated films of the year. As the film’s release date is nearing, rumours about the film’s various facets have started doing the rounds. The latest buzz is that Prabhas has been paid a whopping sum of Rs 100 crores as salary for the film. If the reports are true then he becomes the highest-paid Indian actor beating the likes of Rajinikanth, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Apparently, Shraddha who is making her Telugu debut with Saaho is also being paid a huge amount of Rs 7 crore.

However, there has been no confirmation from the actor’s team or from the makers about the actor’s salary. Earlier it was reported that Prabhas is getting a fixed salary for Saaho and also owns a major share in the film’s profit when it releases in multiple languages. Saaho is scheduled to release on August 30 and has created quite a buzz amongst the audience with its posters and songs Psycho Saiyaan and Ye Chota Nuvvunna.

Besides, Prabhas and Shraddha the film also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar and Mandira Bedi in significant roles. The film was delayed due to technical reasons and will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam.
