Sona Mohapatra blasts Anu Malik for coming up with a new single ‘Monday’ after the MeToo allegations

Anu Malik stated that he found himself out of work one fine day when he woke up, for 'no rhyme or reason'. The singer and composer who was a judge of Indian singing reality show Indian Idol ever since its inception, was sacked from his position of a judge in this show's 10th season after several allegations of sexual misconduct popped up against him in the #MeToo movement last year.

Now, Anu has come up with a single track along with rapper Parry G. Singer Sona Mohapatra, who had earlier called out Anu Malik for sexual misconduct in the #MeToo movement, once again took to her Twitter account to lash out against him. The singer dug up the previous articles of other women who had accused Anu Malik of sexual harassment in #MeToo and shared them on her Twitter page. She wrote, "Anu Malik, these were the reasons, rhyme you go figure."

Sharing another article in which singer Shweta Pandit called Anu Malik a pedophile, Sona wrote, "One more ‘reason’ & the number of them is quite large Mr. Anu Malik. Do take note, producers of @superstarsinge @SonyLIV, your show hosting him is supposed to be aimed at kids between 2 & 15 yrs?"

There are also rumours that Anu will return as a judge for Indian Idol's 11th season but no confirmation has been given on the same.
