The makers of Sidharth Malhotra's and Parineeti Chopra's upcoming film Jabariya Jodi dropped in yet another peppy song from the film's album. The song titled Macchardani is a quirky number set against the backdrop of an ongoing wedding. The song has all the peppy steps and the right music to get you on the dance floor grooving.
The makers shared, "Celebrations will now unfold in #Jabariya style... Make way for the hatke wedding song of the year! #MacchardaniOutNow #JabariyaJodi". In the song, we can see Parineeti glowing at her haldi ceremony and sharing some romantic moments with Sidharth. Macchardani gives a glimpse of the fun element the two will bring out in the quirky comedy film. The song also features Aparshakti Khurana teasing Parineeti as the latter impresses us with her expressions. Macchardani is sung by Vishal Mishra and Jyotica Tangri. The lyrics are by Raj Shekhar while Vishal Mishra has given the music. The folk lyrics are by Brindani Mishra. Watch the song here:
Jabariya Jodi is set against the backdrop of ‘Pakadwa Shaadi’, a practice that's highlighted in the film. This practice is still seen in the states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The comic take on harsh reality will be an entertainer of the year. Jabariya Jodi is directed by Prashant Singh and is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Shaailesh R. Singh’s Karma Media and Entertainment. The film is scheduled to release on August 9, 2019.
