It's a three-way clash! Shraddha Kapoor’s films ‘Saaho’ and ‘Chhichhore’ to lock horns with Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Made In China’ on August 30

Bollywood churns out films by the dozen and is the biggest film industry in the world so box office clashes are bound to happen. More often than not the films’ release dates are rescheduled to give ample amount of screen space to all the big releases. However, sometimes clashes are not averted and films release on the same date. This year there are several films that are pitted against each other. Only recently Prabhas’ and Shraddha Kapoor’s film Saaho’s release date was adjusted so that it does not clash with Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House.

The film has been moved from an August 15 release to August 30 release. However, it will face two films at the box office. The first being Chhichhore that also stars Shraddha in multiple roles along with Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Sharma  and Prateik Babbar and the second is Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy starrer Made In China. Rajkummar and Shraddha gave last year’s blockbuster hit in Stree which had released exactly the same time last year.

So, although Shraddha’s Saaho might have escaped getting sandwiched between Mission Mangal and Batla House, we will get to see the actress in two diverse roles in two different genres of films. Since there are very few Fridays left for solo release this year, looks like there is no escaping this clash and Shraddha and Rajkummar will battle it out at the box office.
