Irrfan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan starrer Angrezi Medium is one of the most anticipated films. The film is a sequel to the 2017 super hit Hindi Medium that also starred Irrfan along with Pakistani actress Saba Qamar. The film’s shooting was wrapped last week and director Homi Adajania shared the news with a heartfelt post for Irrfan as well as the rest of the crew.
Although the film’s release date has not been announced by the filmmakers, a trade website reported that the film might release in the beginning of 2020. The portal reported that producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films has indicated that since there are a number of films of the production house lined up, Angrezi Medium is eyeing a release date just before Imtiaz Ali’s directorial Aaj Kal featuring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan.
Now, since Aaj Kal is scheduled to release on February 14, 2020, Angrezi Medium should release in January or in the first week of February. Maddock Films has a very interesting line-up of films including Arjun Patiala, Made In China and the two above mentioned films. The production house has been belting out one blockbuster after another and has had a very successful last year as well with all its releases hitting bull’s eye at the box office.
