Malaika, soon after kickstarted her second innings in Bollywood. Now, as the film enters into its third installment, when Malaika was probed regarding being associated with the film as the co-producer during an interview with a leading daily, she was prompt to give a denial. She added everyone associated with the project have moved on, dropping a comment indirectly to her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan.

Malaika, a full-time businesswoman now, shared her plans with regards to her company. “I would definitely want to produce some really good content in my company. The kind of content you see across platforms, in films and otherwise, is so promising. I might actually produce a short film or something but nothing immediately. A lot of ideas have come my way and I am just taking my time to greenlight one or some of them. Actually, this is the best time of my life. For any woman today, life actually begins post 40. It’s an age in which a woman was once considered oh-so-redundant. Today, she’s a lot freer in that same age window,” Malaika added.

Malaika and Arbaaz called it quits in 2016 and officially took divorce in 2017. The ex-couple although parted way, they remain on cordial terms and co-parent their son, Arhaan. A while later, it was reported that he was dating Giorgia Andriani and now, early this year, the two made it official. On the other hand, Malaika made her affection and love for Arjun Kapoor come out in the open on his 34th birthday on June 26. When Dabangg 3 kickstarted, it was made clear that Malaika won't be featuring in the quintessential item song. Then, it was said Mouni Roy shall star in the song but eventually, Warina Hussain did it.

Dabangg 3 is directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan, Nikhil Dwivedi is scheduled to release on December 20, 2019.
