Meezaan expresses his desire to work with Khushi Kapoor, says he would be more than happy to work with her

In the ongoing wave of promising newcomers making their mark in the film industry, Meezaan grabbed a fantastic opportunity to go ahead with the flow. The actor, son of Jaaved Jaaferi made his debut with the recently released Malaal and found himself a strong ground in films. Although the film failed to make the right noise at the box office, Meezaan proved that he is here to stay. The actor, soon after becoming an active face in media, turned into a subject of several baseless rumours, one being him dating Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda and the other being making a debut opposite Khushi Kapoor. Although Meezaan, at several occasions denied dating Navya, he remained silent over the other speculation. Now, in an interview with a leading daily, the Malaal actor spoke at length about it and said though the reports had no truth, he would be more than happy to work with Khushi if given a chance.

"Khushi and Janhvi were my juniors in school and I know them really well. I believe Karan Johar in an interview with Neha Dhupia had answered that amongst the new debutants, Meezaan and Khushi seem promising (something on these lines). And then I don't know why people have just turned this around and written something else. Having said that, this doesn't mean I wouldn't want to work with Khushi. I would love to work with her, I would be more than happy to work with her," Meezaan told during the interview.

Meezaan made his debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali produced Malaal that starred the latter's niece Sharmin Segal with him. Sharmin, like Meezaan, made her debut with the same film. Speaking of Khushi, she is the youngest daughter of late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. If rumours are to be believed, Karan Johar, who launched her sister Janhvi Kapoor in 2018's Dhadak, will help her venture into films under his production house Dharma Productions.
