Nawazuddin Siddiqui to don the hat of a rapper for brother Shamas Siddiqui's directorial debut 'Bole Chudiyan'

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a bona fide actor of great calibre and there isn't any doubt about it. Now, with his brother Shamas Siddiqui's debut venture Bole Chudiyan, the actor is all set to unleash his inner rapper before his fans. Yes, as per a report in a leading daily, Nawazuddin will be behind the mic for a rap. The rap titled Swaggy Chudiyan is said to be recorded on Saturday. The lyrics of the same are penned by Kumaar and composed by Inder and Sunny Bawra. Shamas, the director, while talking to the daily said Nawazuddin was initially hesitating to do it but later got a hang of it and now, he is excited to go behind the mic. He also added that Swaggy Chudiyan isn't a promotional number but takes the story forward.

"When I sounded him out, he was a little hesitant but after some rehearsals with Kumaar and the composer duo, he got into the groove and now is excited to record for his first rap song," Shamas told the daily.

Shamas further told, "Many actors have been singing for their films and considering that the rap is written with Nawaz bhai's character in mind, we thought it's best if he sings it himself since it suits his voice well." The song is said to have a rustic Rajasthani folk song touch to it Nawazuddin plays a bangle seller in the film.

Bole Chudiyan features Tamannaah Bhatia as the female lead. It also stars Anurag Kashyap in a cameo appearance and South Indian actor Kabir Duhan Singh in a negative role. It is said that the film will take off on July 25 in Mandawa, Rajasthan. Short schedules of the film are planned in Firozabad and Delhi. Bole Chudiyan is produced by Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia.
