Batla House: John Abraham unveils the first teaser of 'an encounter that shook the nation'

The makers of John Abraham's Batla House shared the first teaser of the film this morning. Batla House is based on a real-life incident about the Delhi spot where a shootout took place in 2008. John shared the teaser on his Instagram account. 

John shared the video and captioned it as, "The sound of the gunshots that were fired still echoes eleven years later. Witness the real story in the #BatlaHouseTrailerOn10thJuly" The teaser showcases an encounter that shook the nation and a decision that raised many questions. Eleven years later, the real story is revealed through John's action-thriller. The film is all set to release on August 15, 2019, and will clash with Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal and Prabhas' and Shraddha Kapoor's Saaho

Known for doing patriotic movies like Madras Cafe and Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran and his last release Satyameva Jayate, John will once again be seen donning the patriotism on his sleeve in Batla House by essaying police officer Sanjay Kumar Yadav who led the Batla House encounter. Helmed by director Nikkhil Advani, the film is written by Ritesh Shah. 

Batla House is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, John Abraham and Sandeep Leyzell.
