Sidharth Malhotra reacts to link up rumours with Kiara Advani and Tara Sutaria, calls them 'Jabariya'

Sidharth Malhotra is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Jabariya Jodi with Parineeti Chopra. However, the actor has been making headlines lately for his link-up rumours with both Kiara Advani, his co-star from Vikram Batra biopic, and Student of the Year 2 actress Tara Sutaria, his co-star from Marjaavaan. Interestingly, Sid recently addressed the same in an interview with a leading daily and said, “These are jabariya (forced) rumours, jabariya link-ups, and nothing which is done jabariya is good."

Well, it seems Sidharth is using his wit to promote his film’s title as a segway, if the situation calls for it. Although he claims to be single now, Sid war ealier dating his first co-star from Student of the Year, Alia Bhatt.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sidharth has been getting praise from all corners for his character in the recently released trailer of Jabariya Jodi. Talking about it, he told the daily, "Abhay Singh—that’s my character in Jabariya Jodi—is flamboyant and colourful, so first, it was important to get the look and styling right.. After that, I worked on the accent, which is a blend of Bhojpuri, Maithili and Magahi spoken in Patna. It was a part of a two month workshop before the shoot. I also worked on it on my own since I had a certain body language to carry through the film."

Directed by Prashant Singh, Jabariya Jodi promises to offer a funny, vibrant and engaging story while taking a stand on dowry and groom kidnapping, which is rampant in Bihar. It will release on August 2.
