Salman Khan, who is all set to produce the ninth season of Nach Baliye, had earlier introduced a twist to the popular dance reality show. The actor will be getting exes to reunite as pairs for the competition. The actor had said, “Nach Baliye this year is going to be all about entertainment with our new concept of getting not just couples but ex-couples under one roof.”
Now, according to a media report, the channel is in talks with real-life Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh to make an appearance in the first episode of the show. “The channel is in talks with the couple to make an appearance, and unless the schedule of their sports drama which is currently in London is hit for a six, they will be the first celebrity guests. The opening episode will be shot in the second week of July,” revealed a source close to the development. If the couple gives the show their nod then this will be Ranveer's and Deepika’s first joint appearance on a television show after their November 14 wedding last year.
Salman too will be seen in the grand premiere and introduce the contestants to the audience. “He will be hosting the episode and there will be lots of fun banter between Ranveer, Deepika and him,” the source added.
Raveena Tandon is one of the three judges of season nine and the official announcement of the other two judges is yet to be made.
