Salman Khan's and Sonakshi Sinha's Dabangg 3 is one of the most hyped and awaited films of this year. Although the makers retained the original cast that joined the franchise back in 2010 but there was no official confirmation about who will be stepping into the shoes of Salman's father in the film, Vinod Khanna post his demise. Now, we have a great piece of news regarding the person who will enact the role of Prajapati Pandey. The actor is none other than Vinodji's younger brother Pramod Khanna. The announcement regarding the same was made by Salman on this Instagram account on Thursday.
Salman introduced Pramod in a video and captioned it, "Introducing Pramod Khanna" The video featured Sonakshi as Rajjo along with the director of the film Prabhu Deva. Watch the video here:
Dabangg 3, directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan, Nikhil Dwivedi. The film is scheduled to release on December 20, 2019. The principal shoot of the film began in March with the team flying to Indore. The first shot of the film took place in Mandleshwar and Maheshwar. Apart from Sonakshi and Salman, Dabangg 3 stars Kannada star Sudeep in an important role. During an interview with a leading daily, Salman gave an insight into the film's story and said it will be a prequel to the previous Dabangg films and shall trace Chulbul Pandey's journey to becoming the Robinhood of the area. "The story starts with Dabangg 3 in the present and then it goes back to the past and then comes back to the present day again. It will have a prequel portion, but only as a flashback," Salman said.
