Akshay Kumar's and Katrina Kaif's Sooryavanshi has been shaping up to become of the most exciting and awaited film of 2020. The Rohit Shetty directorial not just features some interesting daredevilry stunts but is home to some visually spectacular scenes and songs. As PeepingMoon.com had informed its readers with an exclusive dated June 14 that the makers of the film going to recreate Akshay's evergreen song Tip Tip Barsa Pani and have acquired the rights from Ratan Jain, the head of Venus, the company that held the rights of the song. Now, giving an official nod to the news, Akshay, on Thursday, on his Instagram account made the announcement of recreating the sensuous song featuring him and Raveena Tandon from his film Mohra for Sooryavanshi. But this time Katrina will be stepping into Raveena's shoes.
Akshay shared a picture of him with Ratanji and thanked him for giving a memorable song like Tip Tip Barsa Pani which has been synonymous to his career. He also wrote that it would have been disappointing that someone else apart from Akshay to have done the song. He captioned the post as "I would’ve definitely been disappointed if any other actor would’ve recreated #TipTipBarsaPaani, a song which has been synonymous with me & my career and I can’t thank Ratan Jain ji enough. At times like these you realize, we may have come a long way but we also go back a long way" Take a look at his post here:

Speaking to a leading daily, Ratan revealed the reason to part ways with the rights of the song. "The primary reason I parted with the rights is because Akshay is doing the song again. I have the highest regard for him as an actor and a person. I would not have given the song to any other producer. Having said that, it's not a complete transfer of rights. I have parted with the song for a particular period, after which the rights will be reinstated with us," Ratan quoted.
PeepingMoon.com had reported that the recreated version of Tip Tip Barsa Pani will be shot in the Ramoji Film City during the Hyderabad schedule of the film.
