Sunil Gavaskar bowls us over with his energetic jig on 'Badan Pe Sitare' with Ranveer Singh during the Ind VS Pak match

Ranveer Singh is the living example of the term flamboyance. The actor, whenever he makes an appearance, the atmosphere seems to brighten up. Ranveer, during the India VS Pakistan match during the ongoing World Cup 2019 at the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester, took charge as the sports presenter by replacing Jatin Sapru and stunned everyone with his electrifying cameo. As the audience were engaged watching the tense and exciting match, Ranveer along with the former Indian team cricketer Sunil Gavaskar broke into an impromptu jig on the song Badan Pe Sitaare from Shammi Kapoor's Prince, in the commentary box.

Gavaskar, in a never seen before avatar danced as if nobody was watching and matched up to Ranveer's crazy and energetic dance moves. In the background, we can see Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag, who remained busy on their phones. Speaking of the match, India defeated Pakistan by 89 runs under the Duckworth - Lewis - Stern (DLS) method. The match was witnessed by several Indian celebrities like Saif Ali Khan, Alaia F, Shibani Dandekar, Rakul Preet Singh, Boman Irani, Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi.

Coming to Ranveer, he is currently in Glasgow for the shoot of his upcoming film with Kabir Khan titled '83. The film is based on India's win in World Cup 1983 against West Indies. Ranveer plays the role of the former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev, who led the team to victory back then. Deepika Padukone is playing the role of Kapil's wife Romi Dev. Tahir Raj Bhasin, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna and Chirag Patil will also be seen in '83.
