Ranveer Singh’s dream of becoming a cricket commentator comes true

From the United Kingdom, exclusively on Star Sports network, Bollywood Entertainer and superstar Ranveer Singh, known for his passion for cricket is all set to entertain fans on Star Sports with a segment where he interacts with cricket legends before the big clash begins. He will be joined by Jatin Sapru who he teased earlier in the Class of '83 show – are we in for an exciting Best v Best host here?

Ranveer Singh on hosting Class of ’83 show on Star Sports, with legendary guests Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Syed Kirmani,“ I am extremely excited to tell you’ll that I have got a new job at Star Sports. I’m a huge sports fan; I watch football and I love cricket. I have been throwing hints on Twitter; I thought I’ll put some cricketing analysis – someone from Star Sports will read it and I’ll get a call – because I’m actually a closet commentator. I have been an actor, but I always wanted to be a commentator; joining the likes of legendary commentators like Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Syed Kirmani. I wanted to join the Star Sports team; Jatin, Mayanti and Ranveer Singh.

On hosting Class of ‘83 on Star Sports, Ranveer Singh also spoke about his experience, “I have taken Jatin Sapru’s job! Jatin, I really love you and so does the entire nation – you are probably someone who loves this job, just like me. It was lovely hosting this show.”
