Meezaan Jaaferi, who is all set to make his big Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali produced Malaal is running busy with back to back interviews. In one such interview with a leading daily, Meezaan, who is rumoured to be dating Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda, dismissed the speculation as false. Meezaan clarified that Navya is his younger sister Alaviaa's best friend and they belong to the same friends' circle and also denied dating anyone as of now.
"We're from the same friends' circle, she is my sister's bestie and a really good friend. I'm not in a relationship with anyone," Meezaan told the daily.
Navya, the daughter of Amitabh's and Jaya Bachchan's daughter Shweta, unlike other star kids has no plans to join the film industry soon. However, she has been linked up to Meezaan on quite a number of occasions like back in 2017, Navya went on a film date with a mysterious man who was rumoured to be the Malaal actor. As soon as they spotted the cameras, Meezaan and Navya hid their faces and exited the theatre in their car.
On the professional front. Meezaan, the son of actor Jaaved Jaaferi will be seen with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece Sharmin Segal in Malaal, a love story set against the backdrop of Mumbai chawls. The film directed by Mangesh Hadawale will release on July 5.
