After making a comeback with Veerey Di Wedding, Kareena Kapoor Khan has signed multiple projects since then. While she has completed the Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Good News, Bebo would start shooting for Angrezi Medium with Irrfan in London. Not just that, Kareena recently also made her TV debut as a judge on the reality show Dance India Dance. Interestingly, Kareena is also set to reunite with her good friend and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) director Karan Johar after 18 years in his period drama Takht, featuring an ensemble cast, including Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
In an interaction with a leading daily, Kareena shared her excitement for the film and revealed when she would start shooting for the project. "I am excited to work with him (Karan Johar) after Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. We will start shooting for Takht in December," she was quoted as saying.
Well, we certainly cannot wait for the lead line-up to share glimpses from the sets.
Meanwhile, talking about the film, KJo had vouched that the story, based on a true historical account, will be treated with dignity in the film. "The film is based on a true historical event that transpired... It is embedded in history and that is why it is important to tell the way it was," he maintained.
