The wait to see Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra on screen is about to end as their film Jabariya Jodi finally got a release date. The film will now release on August 2, 2019. The poster with the new release date was made available on social media on Monday.
The poster of the film features Parineeti looking into Sidharth's eyes while he clicks a selfie with her. If you look at the poster carefully, you can see a groom sitting on a chair in an unconscious state that indicates Parineeti's and Sidharth's are up to some theft or mischief at the wedding of the groom.

Apart from Parineeti and Sidharth, Jabariya Jodi has cast Aparshakti Khurrana, Sanjay Mishra, Neeraj Sood, Gopal Dutt, Javed Jaffrey and Chandan Roy Sanyal in important roles. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and Shailesh Singh of Karma Media Net. Jabariya Jodi is directed by Prashant Singh.
Talking about the shift in release date, Jabariya Jodi was earlier supposed to release on July 12 but owing to a clash with Hrithik Roshan's Super 30, the makers of the film had to push the date ahead. Hrithik had to postpone the release of Super 30 after a heated controversy over its clash with Kangana Ranaut's Mental Hai Kya, which is again produced by Ekta. However, to avoid problems, Ekta agreed to push Jabariya Jodi ahead to give Super 30 a clash-free weekend.
