Has Salman Khan given his nod to play a BSF soldier who eliminated an Indian Mujahideen terrorist camp in his next?

Salman Khan is busy promoting his much-anticipated film Bharat, which is all set to hit the theatres on Eid, June 5. Amid his promotional spree, we hear that Salman is now looking forward to a biopic, based on the life of a BSF jawan. According to a report in an entertainment portal, the actor has been approached by a big banner to star in the project. "Salman has always been extremely driven by stories that centre around India. Recently, a big banner approached him for a biopic they wish to produce. It will revolve around the life of a BSF jawaan and will be set in Kashmir," a source close to the development revealed.

Reportedly, the story of the BSF soldier is an inspirational one as he single handedly ended the entire camp of Mujahideen militants. "It's an extremely brave and inspirational story of this one man - an Indian soldier - who single handedly ended the entire camp of Mujahideen militants around 12-14 years ago. Salman loved the entire idea and felt it was an untold real life story that needed to be told. He has given a verbal nod to the film already but his dates need to be figured out," the source added. Citing the relevance of the recent Pulwama attacks to the story, the source concluded, :People would want to know the back story and what happened, years before the Pulwama attacks happened."

Nonetheless, if all goes well, it would be exciting to see Salman headline a biopic.

Meanwhile, Salman has an eclectic lineup of films ahead. Apart from Bharat, he has already begun shooting for Dabangg 3 and he will also feature alongside Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah.
