Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut will no longer lock horns at the box-office as the makers of Super 30 announced the changed release date of the film. The much-talked about project, which sees Hrithik in a teacher's avatar, will now hit the screens on July 12, 2019. Sharing the new release date, the official handle of Reliance Entertainment mentioned on Twitter:

Earlier, the film was slated to release on July 26 and was supposed to clash with Kangana and Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya. However, Hrithik recently said he has decided to shift the release date of his film Super 30 amidst a media circus. "So as to not allow my film to be desecrated by yet another media circus, I have decided to shift the release date of my film 'Super 30' in order to save myself from the personal trauma and toxic mental violence this would cause," the actor said in the statement posted on Twitter. His statement came a day after Rangoli Chandel took to Twitter to warn Hrithik over a box office clash between her sister Kangana and him.

Not to forget, there was a buzz that Kangana had recommended that the release date of Mental Hai Kya be changed to July 26 so that a box office face-off with Hrithik is possible. Later, a statement on behalf of Balaji Motion Pictures maintained that the decision has been taken for "better box office prospects" for Mental Hai Kya. In fact, with the new release date of July 12, Super 30 will now clash with Ekta Kapoor's Jabariya Jodi -- starring Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra, unless she decides to alter its release date as a return favour to Hrithik, as suggested by several media reports lately.

Meanwhile, apart from Hrithik, Super 30 will feature TV actress Mrunal Thakur, Nandish Sandhu and others in pivotal roles. It is produced by Phantom Films, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Reliance Entertainment.
