As Sunny Deol emerged victorious from the Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab during the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, his step-sister Esha Deol shared a sweet message for him on her Twitter account. Esha, like a dutiful little sister, congratulated Sunny and sent her best wishes to him.
Esha wrote, "Congratulations @iamsunnydeol my best wishes to u always" and won hearts of her followers. Soon after, Sunny thanked her for her wishes.

Esha also congratulated her mother Hema Malini who won from the Mathura seat in Uttar Pradesh. She wrote, "Well deserved congratulations to @dreamgirlhema." In another post, she shared a picture of Hema with a certificate and wrote, "She did it again congratulations and my best wishes on round 2 ! Ur doing a fantastic job as an Indian citizen @dreamgirlhema ! #proudofyou"

Esha is Hema's and Dharmendra's eldest daughter while Sunny is the eldest son of Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. Esha is married to businessman Bharat Takhtani and has a daughter named Radhya. She is soon expecting her second child.
