We have sad news to share. The eight-year-old marriage of Imran Khan and Avantika Malik is reportedly coming to an end. Rumours in Bollywood are its splitsville for the couple that dated for nine years before romantically getting engaged at Avantika’s family farmhouse in Karjat in January 2010 and then married in (Maamu) Aamir Khan’s Pali Hill residence a year later. Imran and Avantika, will go separate ways.
While B-Town is buzzing with the news, nobody seems to know what brought an end to the lovely marriage that Imran and Avantika seemed to share. The couple has always been reticent and lived their life, with their adorable five-year-old daughter Imara, away from the sleuthing lens of the paparazzi. But something must have undeniably gone wrong for them to have taken a mature decision to separate. An insider said, “Avantika allegedly left 24, Pali Hill, Imran’s residence, a while ago with Imara. It is being said that she is currently staying with her family.”
Imran made a sensational Bollywood debut in 2008 with the romantic comedy Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na that went on to be a critical and commercial success. He had films in his genes because he was the nephew of Aamir Khan and filmmaker Mansoor Khan and the grandson of legendary director-producer Nasir Hussain. His other commercial successes include I Hate Luv Storys (2010) and Delhi Belly (2011). After a series of flops and being out of the limelight, Imran decided last year to return to Bollywood as a director. Old diehard fans of the handsome actor rejoiced at this news. But now comes the sad news of his separation.
