Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha kick started the shoot of Dabangg 3 in Madhya Pradesh last month and have been teasing their fans with stills from the sets. While Salman recently shot for the title track of the film, Sonakshi's look as Rajjo piqued the interest of the audience as well. Amidst all that, there were reports that Mouni Roy would be seen sharing screen space with Salman for a dance track, much like Malaika Arora and Kareena Kapoor Khan did in the previous two parts of the film.
We now hear that Salman and Mouni will shoot for the racy track next week on a set built at a Vasai studio. “Work on the set is being completed for the shoot, which is scheduled in the next couple of days. The setting for the number, which is on the lines of Munni Badnaam in Dabangg (2010) and Fevicol Se in Dabangg 2 (2012), is of a small-town watering hole. While Mouni will perform some sexy moves, Salman, too, will have his own hook step for this song," a daily quoted a source as saying. In fact, it was earlier touted that Salman will step into the shoes of Malaika for an item number and will star in a song called Munna Badnaam Hua. We wonder if Mouni is joining Salman for the same song or not.
Meanwhile, post the song shoot and talkie portion at set in a Dahisar studio, Salman will reportedly take a break from Dabangg 3 to promote his upcoming film Bharat, co-starring Katrina Kaif. “After filming the special song, shooting for Dabangg 3 will resume next month as Salman also needs to travel for the promotions. Moreover, when it comes to shooting such numbers, he usually wraps up in a day or two at the most. And that’s the way the song’s shoot has been planned,” the source concluded.
Well, we certainly cannot wait to see Salman and Mouni shake a leg together.
