Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt recently went off to Europe for a romantic getaway that sent the rumour mills in an overdrive. Speculations started raging that the couple went to Europe to finalise their wedding destination. However, in an interview with an entertainment website, Alia refuted all such rumours and laughed it off calling them pure rubbish.
During the interview, Alia said about her latest trip, “Kuch bhi!!! This is rubbish. It was just a holiday. Just like that... People say what they want to.” A source close to Ranbir and Alia informed the publication that the marriage rumours are all conjecture. The insider said, “Neither Ranbir-Alia nor Arjun Kapoor-Malaika Arora are likely to tie the knot in 2019,"
Apparently, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan had refuted the news of her daughter’s wedding too in a previous interview. She said, “As a mother, I want to see her happy. At the same time, I also would give her word of caution. She is too young to rush into any lifetime decision. While personally, I believe that when you find the right man to get married, you should get married without delaying too much. But that does not mean, you have to get married in a hurry... You have to draw a fine line while taking a decision.”
Alia had previously said that the day she decides to get married she would shout out from the rooftop of Gaiety Galaxy. Ranbir and Alia will share screen space for the first time in the upcoming sci-fi romance Brahmastra that also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.
