The makers of Sandeep Vanga's upcoming film Kabir Singh released its trailer today and it sure looks impressive. With a fresh new pair of Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani, the film looks promising by its trailer.
The trailer showcases Shahid as a complete rebel who is an alcoholic and an angry young man for the sake of love. Shahid as Kabir Singh falls in love with a medical student named Preeti (played by Kiara Advani) and goes to extreme levels for her. Shahid is shown as a total rebel but as he says at the end of the trailer "I am a rebel only for a cause". Kiara, on the other hand, plays a sweet and subtle role of a college going girl who falls in love with Shahid but soon her life takes a U-turn when she is forced to marry another man.
The 38-year-old actor had earlier revealed that the part required him to smoke cigarettes, beedis and pretend to snort cocaine for the major portion of the film. He had opened up about how difficult the part was for him especially because it had negative energy.
Based on a brilliant yet impulsive young surgeon who falls into a path of self-destruction after the love of his life is forced to marry another man, Kabir Singh is all set to release on June 21, 2019.
