All eyes are currently set on Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya Panday, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut this Friday with Karan Johar's Student Of The Year 2, also starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. Although the young starlet seems confident in giving interviews and facing the paparazzi, she recently revealed that she wasn't always very confident about the way she look. In an interview with a leading daily, Ananya talked about how she was bullied in school and revealed the reason why trolls really do not affect her much.
"In my school, we wore uniforms and couldn't apply nail polish or kajal. I had so many problems like body issues, stress and exams. I am really skinny even though I eat like a beast. Everyone wants to have a curvy body and look a certain way, but I think now I am comfortable in my skin," she said while further adding, "In school, I would always be uncomfortable because my skirt would expose my thin, chicken legs and wiry hands. I would get called a hunchback as I am tall and would always bend down to hear people. This is the reason trolls don't affect me, as I have been bullied in school."
Meanwhile, Ananya is often quizzed about nepotism since she belong to a filmy family. On the issue, Ananya maintained while speaking to a news agency, "It exists in all industries, not just our (Bollywood) industry. I am very lucky that I got this chance and audition... I feel internally, I will never be feeling guilty in anyway because I auditioned for the movie twice. I was work-shopping with Punit (Malhotra) for a year after that. So, from inside I worked for this and I don't have that guilt in me."
Apart from SOTY 2, which releases on May 10, Ananya has also bagged the remake of Pati Patni Aur Woh, which also stars Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar.
