Diljit Dosanjh is an ardent admirer of Kareena Kapoor Khan but is also pretty much apprehensive to speak to her despite working with the actress in two films, a leading daily reports. Diljit made his debut in Bollywood with Udta Punjab in 2016, co-starring Kareena and also filmed Good News with her, scheduled to release in December.
Asked if working with Kareena in two films will help him to open up to her, Diljit told the daily, “That may never happen. I have a lot of respect for her and can never have frivolous chatter with her. I think twice before speaking to her so that I don’t end up saying something offensive.”
Apart from Kareena, Diljit is a huge fan of Kylie Jenner and also released a single, titled Kylie + Kareena, recently, dedicated to them. Although Diljit had created the track in January, he didn’t tell Kareena about it during the Good News shoot but informed her about it on the last day. Kareena was simply honoured and in a video, thanked Diljit for the honour, and requested him to talk more often with her.
Good News also stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role and speaking of working with him, Diljit said, “Just with this one project, I learnt so much that I wish I worked with him five years ago. My journey till here would have been something else.”
Directed by Raj Mehta, Good News also stars Kiara Advani and will release on December 27.
