Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding to his fiancé Ishita Kumar has been postponed, a leading daily reports. Sources told the daily that Siddharth and Ishita’s wedding was scheduled to be held last weekend but has been delayed because she had to undergo an emergency surgery ahead of the ceremony.
Certain quarters insisted that Sidharth and Ishita’s wedding has been called off but sources ruled that out, adding that their respective families are looking for another date for their wedding. “There are rumours that the wedding has been called off, but it is not true. Ishita needs some time to recuperate from her surgery and the families are looking for another mahurat,” the source was quoted as saying.
Siddharth and Ishita’s roka was held in February and Priyanka welcomed her into the family with an emotional note on Instagram and also shared pictures online.
Meanwhile, no word of confirmation on the delay in Siddharth Chopra’s wedding has been issued so far
Workwise, Priyanka Chopra will appear next in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink, co-starring Farhan Akhtar. She has also teamed up with Mindy Kaling for a wedding comedy.
