The entire country is currently looking forward to the 2019 General Elections in India. From Bollywood stars to influencers, everyone is excited to cast their votes. But did you know that there are a few Bollywood celebrities who won't be casting their vote for the General Elections 2019? Yes, there is a list of celebrities who are not allowed to vote for the general elections. There are a few beloved Bollywood stars who will not play their part in the General Elections this year mainly because they are not eligible to vote and here's why.

Bollywood's young talent and one of the most loved stars of India Alia Bhatt will not be casting her vote in the general elections because she holds a British passport. Alia's mother, Soni Razdan is also a British citizen.

Katrina Kaif

 

Another Bollywood favourite, Katrina Kaif may have a huge fan following in India but she is still an English citizen and has a UK passport. Hence, she is not eligible to cast her vote in India.

Jacqueline Fernandez

 

Jacqueline Fernandez is not an Indian and it is not an unknown fact. She was born in Bahrain, and while her father is Sri Lankan, her mother is of Malaysian descent.

Sunny Leone

 

Born as Karenjit Kaur, with her roots in India, the actress can still not vote in India because she holds a Canadian passport.

Imran Khan

 

Aamir Khan's nephew Imran who had a short and sweet journey in Bollywood, won't be voting in the general elections because he holds an American passport.
