16 years after the infamous feud, Vivek Oberoi asks Salman Khan, ‘Do you truly believe in forgiveness?’

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is currently busy promoting his film, a biopic on PM Narendra Modi, in full swing. Although the film was earlier slated to release on April 12 but its release was stalled by the Election Commission of India. Interestingly, During a recent interview, Vivek was asked what question he would ask some people if they had been administered with the truth serum. When the question to ask to Salman Khan, he quipped, “Do you truly believe in forgiveness?”

For those caught unaware, Vivek was loggerheads with Salman over 16 years ago due to Aishwarya Rai. Aishwarya, Salman’s long-time girlfriend, had begun dating Vivek after breaking up with the former actor. In 2003, Vivek had reportedly called a press conference, where in he accused Salman of calling him 41 times in a drunken state and threatening to kill him. It would not be wrong to say that the press meet had a negative impact on Vivek's career and let to his downfall.

Well, it seems Vivek is still asking for forgiveness from the Dabangg star.

Coming back to the Modi biopic, the film is produced by Sandip Ssingh, Suresh Oberoi, and Anand Pandit. Apart from Vivek, it stars Boman Irani, Darshan Kumaar, Zarina Wahab, Manoj Joshi, and others in pivotal roles.
