Yes, Aditya Roy Kapur is very much single. These are his words and not ours as he revealed his 'real relationship status' while speaking to a leading daily. Last month, Aditya had posted a picture of himself, casually dressed in a tee, which read ‘Single’ and denims, and captioned the post, “#thesinglelife”.
Well, Aditya might have claimed so but Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra weren’t ready to buy it as they called him out as a “liar” on Instagram. But Aditya, on the other hand, told the daily, “I am completely, absolutely single. I’m going to call Arjun and Pari and ask them what they think I am up to.”
Speaking of his relationship status, Aditya also said that he is ready for a relationship but not until he meets the right person. “I’m open to a relationship but I have to meet the right person first,” Aditya added.
Aditya, in fact, during his appearance on Karan Johar's Koffee with Karan 6, Aditya had also said that he isn’t dating anyone and just "chilling". Reports, though, stated that he was in a relationship with Diva Dhawan before his current “single” phase.
Asked about Diva, Aditya had said on KWK 6, "She's a lovely girl and an old friend. We met at a fashion show many years ago and we are good friends. We went out for dinner one night at this famous restaurant that everyone is going to nowadays, Bastian. So we got papped and stories started."
Workwise, Aditya Roy Kapur is gearing up for the release of Abhishek Varman’s Kalank, co-starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt, scheduled for April 17. He is also filming Mohit Suri’s Malang, meanwhile.
