It has been a while since several quarters of the press have been reporting that Varun Dhawan is all set to marry his girlfriend Natasha Dalal in the “next few months” but the 31-year-old actor, while responding to rumours, told a leading entertainment magazine that his wedding will not be held in 2019.
Varun, currently, is in the midst of a hectic schedule. Apart from discharging promotional duties for his upcoming film Kalank, Varun is also filming Street Dancer 3D and will begin work on his father, filmmaker David Dhawan’s adaptation of Coolie No.1 soon after. In that case, his wedding to Natasha looks slightly difficult this year.

“It’s not going to happen this year. I’m not saying I won’t get married but it’s not this soon. If I’m doing all these movies, I need to find the right time for that,” Varun told the magazine.
Varun and Natasha are childhood friends and studied in the same school. He confirmed their relationship last year, and also admitted on Koffee With Karan 6 that he is, indeed, dating her and plans to marry her as well. Apart from attending parties and soirees with Varun, Natasha has also been spotted at events and outings with Varun’s parents David and Karuna Dhawan.

Since Varun couldn’t make it to Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding in March, Natasha accompanied them instead. “She (Natasha) and I went to school together. So, she knows my parents since ages. She’s been attending functions with my parents before also but it wasn’t photographed then. She’s my rock, she’s my anchor. She’s the stabilising factor in my life. It’s pretty much like family,” Varun added.
Kalank is Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film and will release on April 17.
