At the Filmfare Awards 2019, held on Saturday night, Ayushmann Khurrana bagged the Best actor in a leading role (critics) for AndhaDhun and dedicated the win to wife Tahira Kashyap and his mother Poonam Kashyap. In response to this gesture, Tahira shared a fun post on her Instagram account and quipped that Ayushmann inspires her as an actor, but as a husband can still do better.
However, Tahira even said that Ayushmann, like every doting family man, is there for her and their kids Virajveer Khurrana and Varushka Khurrana, whenever they need him yet, puts in 100% dedication towards his profession and craft.
Ayushmann, like a doting and immensely lovable husband, promptly responded to Tahira's message for him. He mentioned that Tahira is his biggest source of strength and her happiness and wellbeing is his aspiration.

Tahira and Ayushmann are childhood sweethearts and got hitched in December 2008. Ayushmann, a radio jockey in initial years in the industry found success in Bollywood with Vicky Donor in 2012. Tahira recently was diagnosed with Stage 1 of Cancer and since then, Ayushmann has stood like a rock with her. Tahira, like a strong tigress, has been fighting the disease with grace and strength.
On the professional front, Ayushmann is gearing up for two releases this year- Dream Girl and Article 15.
