It’s finally official that Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan are starring in Imtiaz Ali’s next film. Phew! Kartik shared a picture from the sets of the film on his Instagram account and also revealed the release date of the film. The film also stars Randeep Hooda in a pivotal role and is directed by Imtiaz. The yet-to-be-titled film will release on February 14, 2020.
Sharing the first look from the film, Kartik captioned the picture as, “Honored to embark on a journey with my Favourite #ImtiazAli’s Next with @saraalikhan95 and @randeephooda releasing on 14th Feb, 2020 #JioStudios @imtiazaliofficial #[email protected] @wearewsf

The film is speculated to be a sequel to Imtiaz’s hit film Love Aaj Kal that had Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead but no official confirmation has come from the maker’s side. Sara had revealed of having a crush on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan after which her Simmba co-star Ranveer Singh officially introduced the two at an awards function.
Kartika and Sara have already started shooting for the film in New Delhi. The film is being produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Reliance Entertainment’s Window Seat Films.
