Post wrapping all various public event, Deepika Padukone will soon begin shooting for her next film directed by Meghna Gulzar titled Chhapaak with Vikrant Massey. But before beginning the shoot, Vikrant and Deepika attended the script reading session for the film. Deepika shared a pretty picture from the session on her Instagram handle and captioned it, "All things are ready, if our mind be so-William Shakespeare."
In the photo shared, we can see a smiling Deepika seated next to her co-star Vikrant as both of them are engrossed in the script-reading session. Deepika is wearing a black sweatshirt with her hair tied into a bun. Vikrant is sporting a beard and specs. The script reading session was attended by Gulzar Sahab and Meghna.

In the film, Deepika will be playing the role of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal and showcase her reel life on the celluloid. With Chhapaak, Deepika has stepped into the shoe of a producer for the first time. For the film, the actress will be working with Vikrant and Meghna for the first time.

On the personal front, Deepika inaugurated her wax statue at the Madame Tussauds London with husband Ranveer Singh, parents Ujjala Padukone- Prakash Padukone, sister Anisha Padukone along with in-laws Jagjit Singh Bhavnani and Anju Bhavnani.
