Karan Johar’s upcoming production venture Kalank is one of the most-awaited films of the year and the filmmaker is leaving no stone unturned in making sure that he keeps the audience’s interest levels high in his dream project. The film is a period drama set in the 1940s and is directed by Abhishek Varman. Kalank has a powerful star cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha.
After unveiling the first look posters of the film, the actors, the teaser he finally unveiled the second poster of the last of the six main leads-that of Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay plays Balraj Chaudhry in the film. His look in the film reveals that he is rich, arrogant, stoic, and formidable at the same time shouldering a huge secret. Sanjay can be seen inside a car while he looks outside the window which is rain splattered. He looks authoritarian and a man who is not accustomed to hearing a no. Sanjay looks as if he knows how to get his way and is a dictator of sorts and has an overbearing personality. However, at the same time, we’re sure that there is some hidden secret which will be his bane in the film.
Kalank is slated to release on April 17.
