Ranbir Kapoor’s and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Brahmastra is one of the most awaited films of the year. Directed by Ayan Mukerji the film was kept tightly under wraps with nothing other than the fact that it is a sci-fi story with a love story at its hearts being let out. However, now things are a bit different. After launching the name and logo of the film at Kumbh Mela on Mahashivratri and after joining the social media platform Instagram, Ayan has started sharing a few details about the film.
Today, the director shared a photo of himself along with his lead actors from way back in 2016 at the VFX studio in London. He shared some background about the picture and wrote, “and then, there were 3... from our vfx studio in london, way back in 2016. these were early days on this movie. alia was the new force in our creative life... the brief was simple... ranbir and alia needed to work as one unit and that relationship was more important than their individual characters because at it’s heart, our movie is... a love story... There has been a lot of love since then. After all, Love is Brahmāstra’s guiding Light #brahmastra #lovestory.”

Brahmastra is Ayan’s dream project and he is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the film reaches a mass audience. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. Brahmastra is slated to release during Christmas this year.
