I'm quite okay with ageing gracefully, there is only so much that you can hide behind make-up, says Malaika Arora

If there is someone who defines 'ageless beauty' then it is none other than Bollywood hottie Malaika Arora. The gorgeous diva is aware that looks are extremely important in her profession, but she does not care much about the fact that she is getting older.

During an interview with an entertainment website, Malaika was asked if she was scared of ageing. "Like any woman that I know. We are all scared of ageing. But honestly, I have never really thought about it so much or as a hindrance or 'Oh my God, what am I going to do?' I think I am pretty okay with it," she said.

"In fact, I think age is the one thing that puts things into perspective, purely because I know what all I have achieved and how far I have come in life. With every passing year, I just know that and I'm fine. If I still got it in me 20 years from now, I'll be like, 'Fab!' For me, it's a challenge!" she added.

Malaika said that she has never hidden her actual age because "this is what it is". She said, "I'm quite okay with ageing gracefully and growing old and all of that. Till date, I have never hidden my age. I am 43 but they keep making me 45 plus, which I'm fine with. But I have never ever hidden my age or the fact that I was married and have a child. What's there to hide? This is what it is."

"Every line is seen on your face and there is only so much that you can hide behind make-up or so-called procedures. Everything is visible," she said, adding that she "want(s) to see what it is like to age as well".

On the work front, Malaika was last seen on the big screen in the special number Hello Hello from Vishal Bhardwaj's Pataakha. Speculation is rife that she will return as Munni for Dabangg 3.
